425 DX NEWS MAGAZINE ---> The October 2014 issue
is now available for

www.425dxn.org/monthly/index.html.
[TNX IZ3EBA]
BOUVET 2015-16 ---> UN7PCZ has announced plans for
him and other eleven
operators to be active as 3Y0F (licence issued
on 7 November by the
Norwegian Post and Telecommunications Authority)
from Bouvet Island for two
weeks between December 2015 and January 2016. See
www.qrz.com/db/3Y0F.
FT4TA ---> The team went QRT from Tromelin Island
on 01:27 UTC on 10
November. Club Log shows a grand total of 71,463
QSOs with 18,410 (25,8%)
unique calls. Breakdowns by Band/Mode and by
Continent, as well as other
statistics, can be found at https://secure.clublog.org/charts/?c=FT4TA#r;
the OQRS is up and running. "We are still amazed
by the huge pileups.
Despite all team members having already experience
from other most wanted
entities, none of us had ever had to face such an
incredible demand", F5UFX
wrote in his final update on 12 November. "Our objectives
were clearly
announced and supported by the community and we
believe we had achieve most
of them. In addition, we were happy to surprise most
of you by providing
immediate LoTW confirmation during our activity".

("We Made It!") on

INDEXA NEWSLETTER ---> The Fall Issue of the
International DX Association's
(INDEXA) Newsletter is available for download. This
issue (#107) reports on

[TNX W3OA]
IOTA NEWS: QSLING VIA YB9BU ---> "IOTA Management
has received a number of
complaints that QSL card requests sent to Kadek,
YB9BU in accordance with
his QSLing instructions on QRZ.com have not received
a reply and similarly
that email enquiries are not being answered. Emails
from the IOTA Manager
and mutual friends have also gone unanswered. In the
circumstances it can
only be assumed that there is an interruption in
the QSL manager service
for all the many operations for which YB9BU acts as
QSL manager and people
would be well advised not to send further cards. We
would also advise YB
island operators for whom YB9BU acts or normally
acts as manager to make
other arrangements to ensure satisfactory QSLing.
Acceptance by IOTA
Management of further IOTA operations by YB9BU must
be regarded as on hold
until and unless the matter is resolved". [G3KMA, 11
November 2014]
VK9DLX & VK9LM ---> VK9DLX finally went QRT on 9
November. "The QSO counter
for VK9DLX shows over 116,500 QSOs, combined with
over 11,500 QSOs in the
CQWW SSB Contest as VK9LM, we end up with over
128,000 QSOs in our logs",
the team said on 12 November. "More detailed
statistics for both callsigns
when we merge and clean the logs and upload them to
Clublog. We know that
still some VK9DLX QSOs are missing in Clublog right
now". The OQRS is
online to apply for either VK9DLX and VK9LM cards
(direct an bureau): it
can be accessed on
http://oqrs.lagunaria-dx-group.org.
W1AW WAS ---> Look for ARRL Centennial stations
W1AW/4 from Florida and
W1AW/5 from Arkansas to be on the air starting at
00.00 UTC on 19 November
until 23.59 UTC on the 25th. Complete information
on the ARRL Centennial
QSO Party can be found at
